About CJLO 1690AM: Formed in 1998 as a merger between CRSG and CFLI, two former stations, CJLO is Concordia University's one and only radio station. 100% non-profit, and run almost entirely by volunteers, the station is located in the heart of the Loyola campus in the NDG borough of Montreal.

Responsibilities include:
On Campus Outreach:
-Communicating with student groups and organizations for collaborations
-Tabling at Concordia events and fairs (Volunteer fairs, Clubs fairs, etc.)
-Representing CJLO at campus events
-Working alongside the Program Director to identify gaps in the CJLO schedule and recruiting DJs as needed
Off-Campus Outreach:
-Communicating with local non-profit organizations for collaborations
-Tabling at local fairs and events relevant to the CJLO community
-Working with DJs for live-broadcasts and events in the city
-Writing a monthly newsletter for volunteers and community members
Social Media:
-Contributing to CJLO’s various social media accounts
-Supporting staff in monitoring comments and messages on CJLO’s accounts
-Making consistent posts across platforms in collaboration with CJLO staff
Volunteer Management:
-Training and managing volunteers interested in CJLO promotions
-Working alongside volunteers tabling at events and on-campus
-Managing a small team of volunteers interested in creating social media content
-Working with the station manager for outreach and promotion of station volunteer opportunities

Type of Position: Contract, 35 hours per week
Wage: $18.15/hour

Responsibilities include:
-Developping, presenting, and executing goals and timelines related to the station’s annual fundraising drive, in conjunction with the Station Manager
-Track and evaluate fundraising revenues to ensure that the fundraising drive is meeting its objectives, in conjunction with the Station Manager
-Draft marketing proposals and contracts for major funding partners, in conjunction with the Station Manager and Art Director
-Identifies and solicits major sponsorship and advertising opportunities for the station while building long-lasting relationships
-Identifies and solicits major sponsorship opportunities with production companies and festivals
-Identifies opportunities for relationship building with on- and off-campus organizations to develop mutually beneficial transactions
-Coordinates internal station events for volunteers, staff, and board members
