The FECQ and FEUQ made their first counter-proposal, but it failed to impress.

According to CTV News, Education Minister Line Beauchamp called the proposal “disappointing”. She said in a press conference that the groups’ position had not changed and will not change its stance on tuition hikes.

Ottawa Senators faced elimination from the NHL playoffs on Thursday night when they lost game seven to the New York Rangers.

According to CBC News this was the Rangers first game seven victory in New York since winning the Stanley Cup in 1994.

The Rangers have Defencemen Mark Staal and Dan Girardi to thank for the goals they scored which lead their team to victory.
