Commonwealth Conundrum broadcasting live from the Wildside Festival tomorrow

Have a taste for theater in these cold times?  Then tune in tomorrow to hear from artists who will be performing at the Wildside Festival at the Centaur Theater, happening from January 7th - 17th.  Rebecca from the Comonwealth Conundrum show will be broadcasting live, interview performers and artists from the festival from 4-6PM.  Be sure not to miss it as it's sure to be a crazy romp into the minds of the creative people who will presenting the plays.

Grade A Explosives teams up with Tainted Reality to help kids

Listen to the Philharmonia Mundi Montreal perform Dvorak's 9th

On December 7th, CJLO walked ALL the way over to the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall where the Orchestra Philharmonia Mundi Montreal was holding a concert where they would play Dvorak's 9th symphony (New World Symphony) along with various other selections.  We did a live broadcast and thought it would be good to put it up for any of you that may have missed it.  The full concert program is:


An Interview with Concerto Della Donna

Concerto Della Donna is a Montreal-based choir of female voices that has graced the world with its beautiful performances for over a decade. Tune in to The F Hole on Monday, December 15th at noon to hear special guests Marie-Claire Saindon, Amena Ahmad, and Katherine Black talk about their experiences in this choir, the history of it, and why the group has unfortunately disbanded. We'll also discuss the director, Iwan Edwards, and his career, as well as the documentary that the group recently produced. Join us in honouring this outstanding group of singers and one of Canada's finest choral directors as we listen to their stories and to their music.

On Sunday, December 7th at 4 PM, Montreal's Philharmonia Mundi will be performing a concert at the Oscar Peterson Concert Hall (7141 rue Sherbrooke O.) and CJLO 1690AM will be broadcasting live at the event!
