The Quebec Soccer Association has banned turbans on the soccer field.
CBC news reports the ban comes despite the Canadian Soccer Association's decision last week to allow turbans on the field.
Sikh soccer players in Quebec have played with turbans for years until last year when the province's soccer association began to put and end to it.
During this period, the association said it was only following the lead of FIFA and its Canadian counterpart.
FIFA has not made a final ruling on the issue.
Legal counsel for the World Sikh Organization for Canada Balpreet Singh says young Sikh's in Quebec are being unfairly punished.
The organization has previously called the turban ban a violation of human rights.
Singh says Quebec is the only province where turbans seem to be a problem for soccer players.
Representatives from the Quebec association said they will review the policy at a meeting in a few months.
